Eric M. Lemmer attended the University of Virginia. Eric was admitted for his last two years of college into the McIntire School of Commerce, where he studied business until graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce. While at McIntire, Eric concentrated his studies on finance and marketing.

After completing his business studies, Eric earned a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, in 2008 from George Mason University School of Law, located in Arlington, Virginia. While at GMU, Eric served as an Associate Editor on the George Mason Civil Rights Law Journal.

Before joining Arlington Law Group, Eric worked for three years in the District of Columbia at the law firm Bingham McCutchen LLP, where he represented a variety of domestic and international technology, telecommunications and private equity enterprises on time-sensitive transactional matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings and general corporate governance matters. While at Bingham, Eric obtained extensive experience drafting and negotiating commercial and government contracts, including stock and asset purchase agreements, real estate leases, employment agreements, indemnification agreements and board and stockholder consents.

Eric has now been advising Arlington Law Group's clients for well over a decade, where his practice focuses primarily on business law for small to medium sized businesses (both for-profit and non-profit), with which he works closely to learn about the nuances of each company and become a long-term partner in their success. Eric assists business owners during all stages of development from the startup phase (e.g., forming an LLC or updating existing corporate governance documents) to the purchase, sale or merger of an existing business. Eric prepares, reviews and negotiates a wide array of contracts, including commercial leases, corporate governance documents, employment contracts and residential real estate acquisitions and sales.
